The meaning of Resilience. noun. the power or ability to return to the original form, position, etc., after being bent, compressed, or stretched; elasticity. ability to recover readily from illness, depression, adversity, or the like; buoyancy

Lives are like an elastic band, and we stretch and stretch.. sometimes we break and sometimes we are able to bounce back to normality, that is resistance. Resilience may come easy to some people, but for many of us it takes time and some hard work to make sure that we don’t stretch ourselves too far.

Resilience is the ability to recover and bounce back from adversity and hardships, feeling stronger and more capable to cope than ever before. My Resilience sessions will provide you with the necessary skills to achieve this.

My six-session program introduces you to Resilience and we go through some awesome tools that you will be able to use every day to make sure that your mental well being is being looked after. During our six sessions, we will be able to discuss and coach around any areas which aren’t working for you, or perhaps areas, where you need to delve a little deeper.

Over six sessions discover how to:-

My resilience coaching draws on cognitive therapy, mindfulness, meditation, self-compassion and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT). Sessions last one hour and can be accessed monthly or weekly via phone, Skype or Zoom. Face-to-face coaching is also available in Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxford and London.
